The Lancaster by the Bay Chamber of Commerce’s sixth annual Taste by the Bay: Wine, Food, Arts and Ale, will be held from 11 a.m.-5 p.m. November 17 at the Tides Inn, 480 King Carter Drive, Irvington.
“Come kick off the holiday season with samplings from seven Virginia wineries, Virginia craft brews and ciders, tastings from several area restaurants, music by JJ & Co., as well as Michael Burgess, plus a variety of artisan vendors and maritime attractions,” said event chairman Joanna Marchetti.
The wineries and restaurants will offer tastes of their products, with the option to purchase favorite items.
Tickets are $30 in advance, or $35 at the door, if available and include a complimentary souvenir wine glass, wine and craft beer tastings, small food samplings from local chefs, entertainment and local artisan vendors and pop up shops, selling goods from gourmet treats to art and jewelry…
