The fifth annual “Taste by the Bay: Wine, Food, Arts and Ale,” event will be held from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, November 18, at the Tides Inn in Irvington.
A Lancaster by the Bay Chamber event, this showcase of local offerings was well attended last year with over 1,000 guests participating.
“Come kick off the holiday season with samplings from seven Virginia wineries, Virginia craft brews and ciders, tastings from several area restaurants, live music by James Justin & Co., as well as Damion Wolfe, plus a variety of artisan vendors, maritime attractions and more,” said event chairman Joanna Marchetti.
The wineries and restaurants will offer tastes of their products, with the option to purchase favorite items.
Tickets are $30 in advance, or $35 at the door and include a complimentary souvenir wine glass, wine and craft beer tastings, small food samplings, entertainment and artisan vendors. Purchase advance tickets at tastebythebay.com, or 435-6092.
