Just like the band on the sinking Titanic, the ACCA Temple German Sauerkraut Band kept playing ’til the end last Saturday in White Stone. As volunteer firemen rolled up the fencing around the beverage garden and the vendors dismantled their booths, the ACCA Temple band continued to entertain the last of the visitors at the annual Oktoberfest Festival. The event, sponsored by the White Stone Business Association and the White Stone Volunteer Fire Department, was scheduled to last six hours but was called after three because of a steady rain.
