The Bay Center in Kilmarnock is celebrating its 20th anniversary with a year of change and evolution.
The Bay Center for Spiritual Development is now The Bay Center, Where the Community Connects, with a focus on keeping its traditional programming and a desire to expand into new territory, reported executive director Ann DeMuth.
This next year of transition will find the Bay Center’s programs, including the Grief Support Group, Helpers and Healers, Project Self-Care and the International Day of Peace celebration, to be held throughout the community, as opposed to the beloved house on Noblett Lane, which was hard to navigate for those with mobility issues, said DeMuth.
