“Kids Day” will be the theme for the Heathsville Farmers Market on Saturday, July 16. Children and their favorite adults will be treated to a number of fun activities while they shop from over 50 different market vendors.
The Tavern Woodworkers Guild offer the chance to make and paint toy wooden boats. The Tavern Spinners & Weavers Guild will have a loom warped and ready for kids to weave on. The Tavern ‘Crafters’ will have a crafting table. There will also be an archeological “dig” for young historians and blacksmithing at the Tavern Forge.
The market will be held from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. at Rice’s Hotel/Hughlett’s Tavern, 73 Monument Place, Heathsville. The market offers produce….
