Historic Christ Church & Museum’s “The Holy & The Ivy” community Christmas carol sing on Monday, December 4, will feature the Christchurch School Cantorion.
The annual event will begin at 3:30 p.m. in the 1735 Christ Church, 420 Christ Church Road, Weems. The Chesapeake Chorale also will perform.
Admission is two non-perishable items, or a monetary donation to the Northern Neck Food Bank.
After the carol sing, guests are invited to a reception in the Bayne Conference Center. Treats will include mulled cider, coffee and homemade cookies. Guests also are reminded to dress appropriately for the unheated, historic church.
