The community is invited to “The Holly & The Ivy” at 3:30 p.m. Monday, December 2, at Christ Church, 420 Christ Church Road, Weems. Admission is two non-perishable items or donations for the Healthy Harvest Food Bank.
The Holly & The Ivy, a traditional carol sing inside the beautifully greened Christ Church, began in 2002 for volunteers. In 2007, the program was expanded to include both the community and instrumental and choral groups. The outstanding acoustics of the church’s soaring arched ceiling showcases the beautiful sounds of the performers and the audience, reported Robert Teagle, executive director at Historic Christ Church & Museum (HCC&M).
