Third-quarter blast propels Lancaster over Rappahannock

Lancaster put up eight unanswered points in less than 30 seconds in the third quarter last Friday to finally shake Rappahannock for a 56-45 win to remain in first place in varsity Northern Neck District boys basketball.

The Red Devils have one game remaining in regular season play on the road tomorrow, February 14, at Essex. Lancaster heads into next week’s district tournament as the top seed with an 8-1 record in the Northern Neck and 14-5 overall mark.
