Lancaster blew open an 11-point lead with a 23-10 third quarter run and went on to beat Essex 56-41 last Wednesday in varsity girls basketball.
The win lifts Lancaster to 13-3 overall and 5-0 in the Northern Neck District with just two weeks remaining in regular season play. The Lady Devils will go to Colonial Beach tonight, January 30, and host Northumberland on Tuesday, February 4.
