LANCASTER—Thomas Allen Jones went to be with his Lord and Saviour on October 30, 2023, after a valiant fight with cancer.
He is predeceased by his father, W. Carey Jones Sr.; mother, Mildred M. Jones; brothers, Douglas and William “Willie” Jones Jr.; sister, Lynn Kimbrough; and grandson, Liam Michael Paulette.
He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Pamela Paulette Jones; sons, Mitchell L. Paulette (Erin) of Richmond County and Robert N. Paulette (Heather) of Spotsylvania; three granddaughters, Mckayla, Alyssa and Charlotte Paulette; grandson, Elias Paulette; uncle, Gerald Jones (Kim) of Port Charlotte, Fla.; two nephews, Carey Kimbrough of Roanoke and Levi Roussell of Nashville, Tenn.
Tommy graduated VCU, Magna Cum Laude with a bachelor’s in information technology. He worked at Dominion Energy as an I.T. systems manager for 30 years. He was a former president of The VCEOA Home Owners Association at Cross Point, chaired the buildings committee and was grill master for community events. He was a member of ACCA Shrine for over 30 years.
A celebration of life will be scheduled for a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Upper Lancaster Volunteer Rescue Squad, 123 Norris Road, Lancaster, VA 22503.
