HARRISONBURG—Thomas Carroll “Tommy” Rose, 78, a resident of Harrisonburg, passed away on Friday, August 18, 2023.
Mr. Rose was born on December 19, 1944, in Weems and was a son of the late Richard Arnold Rose Sr. and Vivian Pearl McCarty Rose. He was a waterman, carpenter and jack of all trades.
He is survived by his daughters, Tammy Sisson (Charles “Toby”) of Lively, Brenda Elbourn (Chuck) of White Stone; brother, Richard A. Rose Jr. of Weems; grandchildren, Tiffany Walters (Dustin) of White Stone, Brooke Elbourn of White Stone; great-grandchildren, Tinsley Walters, Landry Walters; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Rose was preceded in death by a brother, William Grover Rose.
