The Northern Neck Orchestra has elected Suzanne F. Thomas of Irvington as a member of its board of directors, announced Ammon G. Dunton, Jr., chairman of the board.
A former educator and retired social worker, Thomas is a current and past member of the boards of numerous organizations in the community and the Washington, D.C., area.
“The Northern Neck Orchestra is delighted to welcome Suzanne to our board,” said Dunton. “Her exceptional experience on a variety of boards, commitment to public service and love of classical music will benefit the orchestra and the Northern Neck community.”
