KILMARNOCK—Tina Diane Dunaway, 64, of Kilmarnock died quickly and unexpectedly on May 24, 2023.
She is survived by her mother, Mary Ann Haynie Dunaway; sister, Shelia Ashburn Brown (Dan); nephews, Aaron Ashburn and Devin Brown (Stephanie); great niece, Alexis Ashburn; great nephew, Dalton Brown; along with many Haynie, Dunaway and Whay relatives and a host of great friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, Frank Dunaway; and great niece, Adalee Ashburn.
Tina was born in Lancaster County on December 1, 1958. She graduated from Lancaster High School and lived most of her life in Gloucester County having many adventures. She was a free spirit, always living life her way. She was a kind and giving person with a heart of gold.
Tina also had a dynamic spark, never holding back exactly how she felt about a situation in a fiery manner. She loved animals and always had a fur baby. Her friends called her Tina D.
Returning to Lancaster County, she made new friends and was closer to her family whom she loved dearly. She always kept in touch with her Gloucester friends.
Tina lived her last 3-1/2 years residing at the Lancashire in Kilmarnock, being well taken care of by the staff and all members in the medical field. There she made new friends and stepped on some toes.
