Tour Heathsville

The “Heathsville Historic District” will be the site for an Historic Garden Week Tour on April 26. Northern Neck Tour hours will be 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tour stops will include Chicacoan Cottage (above), The Academy (below), Oakley, Westlawn and Roanoke. The Old Northumberland County Jail and Rice’s Hotel/Hughlett’s Tavern also will be open on tour day. The tour is sponsored by the Garden Club of the Northern Neck and is part of the Garden Club of Virginia’s week-long tour of homes and gardens. Tickets are $35 per person on tour day at the information center, St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church, 6807 Northumberland Highway, Heathsville. Advance tickets, $25, will be available through April 23 at The Pedestal, Kilmarnock; The Dandelion, Irvington; Dream’s Fashion Boutique, Burgess; Colonial Collectibles, Warsaw; Mosaic, Callao; and The Art of Coffee, Montross.
