The Town of Kilmarnock is looking for vendors for the 2019 farmers market.
“The market had such success last year, that we only see amazing things happening for the 2019 market,” said mayor Mae Umphlett. “These markets again will capture the old school farmers markets with fresh produce and seafood.”
They will be held from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. on fourth Saturdays May through October at Town Centre Park, 150 North Main Street, Kilmarnock.
The town is still looking for vendors who sell the highest qualities of meats, seafood, vegetables, fruits, bakery items and farmers market-worthy products, said event coordinator Ashley Jones.
The market is not looking for resale items and/or arts and crafts. The vision is to offer fresh items from the farms and bay that are available for our community by our community, said Jones.
Open lot spaces and covered spaces are available for this season and fee proceeds help promote the market.
