About 80 girls recently tried out for the Rappahannock River Volleyball Club (RRVC), a new travel club forming for the Middle Peninsula and Northern Neck.
The travel teams will begin play in January after the high school seasons are over, said Middlesex High School varsity coach Brian Walton, one of the organizers.
He was encouraged to see a large turnout at the MHS gym, said Walton.
Girls 12-18 from throughout the area will have another chance to try out….
