Tree lighting to cap holiday activities Dec. 7 in Heathsville

The grand evergreen in front of the Old Courthouse, 72 Monument Place, Heathsville, will be lit for the holiday season on December 7. The tree lighting ceremony will start at 4:30 p.m.

The public is invited to enjoy music, caroling, special holiday readings and refreshments, reported Rice’s Hotel/Hughlett’s Tavern director Corinne Becker.
