The accolades continue to mount for the Lancaster High School varsity boys basketball team.
Troy Henderson, a 5’8” sophomore guard, has been named the Class 1 Player of the Year and Lancaster’s Dwayne Pinn was chosen as the Class 1 Coach of the Year.
The Virginia High School League released the 16-member first and second teams on March 31. Lancaster filled two spots on the first team in brothers Tr. and Tyson Henderson. Ty. Henderson is a 5’10” senior guard.
Helping to lead LHS to the state championship, Tr. Henderson averaged 23.8 points, 4.5 assists, 3.7 rebounds, and 2.1 steals per game this season, including 71 3-pointers. In the state championship game against….
