KILMARNOCK—For those waiting until the last minute to exercise their right to vote, Tuesday, November 7, is Election Day. Polling places will be open from 6 a.m.-7 p.m.
Saturday, November 4, is the last day to vote early in person at the Voter Registration Offices in Lancaster and Northumberland counties.
In Lancaster, the Voter Registration Office, 8311 Mary Ball Road, Lancaster, will be open from 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Thursday, Friday and Saturday. In Northumberland, the Voter Registration Office, 45 Backstreet, Heathsville, will be open from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
Candidate list
The ballot in Lancaster and Northumberland counties will include races for Virginia Senate and House of Delegates.
District 25 Senate candidates include Republican Richard H. Stuart and Democrat Jolicia A. Ward.
District 67 House of Delegate candidates are Republican Hillary Pugh Kent, Democrat John Q. Smith and Independent Richard W. Kenski.
In Lancaster, incumbent Constitutional Officers seeking reelection include Treasurer Bonnie J. Dickson, Commissioner of the Revenue Marlon S. Savoy, Sheriff Patrick McCranie and Commonwealth’s Attorney Anthony G. “Tony” Spencer, all unopposed. Incumbent Diane H. Mumford and Latunya A. Lee are running for Clerk of Circuit Court.
Incumbent supervisors Ernest W. Palin Jr. in District 2, Jason D. Bellows in District 3 and William Roosevelt Lee in District 4 are unopposed for reelection.
Incumbent school board members Kenya G. Moody in District 2, Cindy Booth Clarke in District 3 and Joan W. Gravatt in District 4 are unopposed for reelection.
In White Stone, Charles M. Brocklebank and Tad Edward Pittman are both on the ballot to retain their seats on town council.
Lewis Kendall Walker III and James A. Rowland are unopposed for Lancaster’s two seats on the Northern Neck Soil and Water Conservation District board.
In Northumberland, incumbent Constitutional Officers seeking reelection include Clerk of the Circuit Court Deborah T. Bingham, Commissioner of the Revenue Todd E. Thomas, Sheriff Johnny A. Beauchamp and Commonwealth’s Attorney Jane Blackwell Wrightson, all unopposed. Pamela A. “Pam” King is unopposed for Treasurer.
Incumbent supervisor James W. Brann is unopposed in District 1 and Alfred C. Fisher Jr. is unopposed in District 4. Gayle H. Sterrett and Charles H. “Chip” Williams IV are running for the District 5 seat.
Incumbent school board member Dana Dehil O’Bier is unopposed in District 1 and David Curran is unopposed in District 5. Incumbent school board member Betty B. Christopher and John Amarantides are running for the District 4 seat.
Robert E. Pickett and Robert G. Vanlandingham are unopposed for Northumberland’s two seats on the Northern Neck Soil and Water Conservation District board.
Ballots also have a space to write in a name for each office, if a voter chooses to do so.

• District 5, Irvington Baptist Church, 53 King Carter Drive, Irvington.
In Northumberland, polling places include:
• District 1, Callao Volunteer Fire Department, 314 Northumberland Highway, Callao.
