Two RCC faculty achieve emeritus status

Two faculty members at Rappahannock Community College (RCC) have been named professor emeritus.

To achieve professor emeritus status, the retiree made significant contributions to education, maintained currency in his or her discipline, displayed excellence in classroom teaching and demonstrated leadership in initiatives designed to further the college’s mission.

Additionally, this honor is bestowed only on those individuals who have held faculty rank and completed a minimum of 10 years of service to the Virginia Community College System.
