The Upper Lancaster Volunteer Fire Department will hold a 75th anniversary open house from 11 a.m.-6 p.m. at the Lively Firehouse, 5170 Mary Ball Road, Lively. This is a totally free event for the whole family and everyone is invited.
There will be hot dogs and sodas; fun and games for the kids and a bounce house, said assistant secretary Jimmy Coates. There also will be fire truck rides.
There will be tours of the firehouse and displays throughout the building. There will be a 9/11 tribute and a roll call of deceased members. Fifteen 75th anniversary t-shirts will be given away every hour from noon through 4 p.m.
