Middlesex extended its unbeaten run to 8-0 last week with a three-game sweep of Lancaster in varsity volleyball.
The Lady Devils are 2-3 overall.
“We’ve had an extremely short season with barely five preseason practices,” said Lancaster coach Stephanie Naumoff. “We’ve been trying to make adjustments after and during each game. The girls have done a great job considering we’ve had a total of ten practices with over a year off. Normally, we’d have weeks of conditioning and practice before our first game.”
Lancaster picked up one win in a four-game match against Northumberland last Wednesday when the Lady Indians beat LHS, 3-1.
