St. Patty’s party

Trent Jones will be featured at a St. Patty’s Day Celebration from 2-5 p.m. Saturday, March 13, at General’s Ridge Vineyard, 1618 Weldons Road, Hague.

Sippin’ Saturday

Triple V Farms, Vines, Vodka or Vinegar, 3138 Jessie duPont Memorial Highway, Tipers, will present Sippin’ Saturday from noon-6 p.m. March 13 with Cameron Ashton from 1-4 p.m.

Gardening seminar

The Northern Neck Master Gardeners will present the Gardening in the Northern Neck seminar virtually by Zoom from 8:45 a.m.-3 p.m. March 20. The theme is “Be Intentional: Create Livable, Edible, Sustainable Garden Spaces.”

Music series

The Northern Neck Orchestra’s “Music with Michael Repper,” a free online video series will continue at 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 16 with Music for the Age of Enlightenment: The Art of the Fugue.

The series features music and comments by NNO music director Michael Repper on piano, with guest violinists Adelya Shagidullina and Wanchi.

Tavern fare

Historic Christ Church & Museum (HCC&M), 420 Christ Church Road, Weems, will host a “Colonial Tavern Fare” event from 2-4 p.m. March 20. The drive-thru, pick-up menu will offer three entrée choices: prime rib of beef, ham or salmon. Meals also will feature biscuits with butter, a broccoli Caesar salad, asparagus, bread pudding and gluten-free chocolate cake.

Tickets are $30 per meal, ordered in advance, and can be purchased at ChristChurch1735.ticketleap.com.

Virtual history

The Lancaster Virginia Historical Society’s “Zooming In On Local History: Virtual Speaker Series II” will continue at 3 p.m. April 1 with “Belle Isle, the Bertrand Family, and the Huguenot-Anglican Refuge in Early Virginia,” by Dr. Lonnie H. Lee.

Free shows

The Westmoreland Players have recorded two new productions, “DMV Tyrant” and “Mere Mortals.” Both will be available free for streaming March 12, 13, 14, 19, 20 and 21. Reservations are required; visit www.westmorelandplayers.org.

Wine Down

Good Luck Cellars, 1025 Goodluck Road, Kilmarnock, hosts Friday Night Wine Downs from 5-8 p.m., with music by Bob Wilson from 5:30-7:30 p.m.

Fresh sangria made weekly, featuring a Good Luck Cellars wine, are offered as supplies last from noon-5 p.m. on Sundays. During colder months, a warm, seasonal version is offered.
