The American Legion Adams Post 86 and Ladies Auxiliary will sell pulled pork barbecue by the pound from 4-7 p.m. Saturday, July 24, at the Post Home, 882 Waverly Avenue, Kilmarnock.
The cost is $10 per pound. This will be a carry-out event.

The Lancaster Virginia Historical Society (LVHS), 8346 Mary Ball Road, Lancaster will hold a yard sale from 8 a.m.-noon July 31. The main yard sale will feature a large inventory of kitchen and tablewares, small furnishings, decorative accessories and other household goods from multiple homes.

The 25th anniversary season of Christmas concerts is being planned by the Chesapeake Chorale for December 3, 4 and 5. There are no audition requirements—just a desire to bring Christmas music to the community.
Chesapeake Chorale gives concerts in Northumberland, Lancaster and Middlesex counties and joins in the ‘Holly and the Ivy’ Christmas service at Historic Christ Church.
