FREDERICKSBURG—The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) recently closed Neenah Road over Marshall Creek, between Cople Highway and Nomini Grove Road in Westmoreland County for motorist safety.
During a routine inspection of a culvert, crews discovered significant erosion and a depression in the road, reported Fredericksburg District senior communications specialist Darragh Frye. As high water receded from the culvert, crews planned to further evaluate the extent of the damage and determine repair plans.
