LANCASTER—Reporting to the Lancaster board of supervisors on Thursday, July 27, Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) resident engineer David Beale indicated upcoming projects will include a restructuring of the entrance to Carter Cove Drive from John’s Neck Road in North Weems.
The intersection is a place of concern for the county, as the significant dip between roads may cause damage to trucks or boats hoping to access the Carter Cove area. While widening Carter Cove Drive remains a possibility, Beale said work on the dip is the….
