Vehicle accident results in a fatality

WICOMICO CHURCH—A Virginia Beach woman was killed in a single-vehicle accident in Northumberland County on Tuesday, August 25.

According to Virginia State Police public relations coordinator Shelby Crouch, officers responded to the crash on Carlson Road, a half-mile west of Jessie duPont Memorial Highway, at 6:48 p.m.
