Grace Episcopal Church will begin a new concert series with Victor Haskins’s Skein for a concert at 2 p.m. Sunday, October 3.
“I’m very excited to hear Skein in Grace’s beautiful acoustic space,” said music director Michael McNeill. “I first played with Victor four years ago and was quickly struck by his exploratory spirit and his command of his instruments. His warm cornet tone and otherworldly EWI (wind synthesizer) sounds will light up the reverberant sonic environment in our sanctuary. His bandmates in Skein bring a wealth of musical depth and imagination to Victor’s compositions.”
