LANCASTER—Victor Lawyer, 78, of Lancaster passed away on Thursday, December 18, 2025, after a brief period of declining health.
Victor cared deeply for his family and showed his devotion in the ways he knew best. He had a genuine ability to connect with people, a skill rooted in his early pursuit of ministry after high school, even if life ultimately led him down a different path.
Victor is survived by his brother, Bruce Lawyer and his sister-in-law, Margaret Lawyer; his sister, Valerie Hopkins and her husband, Mark Hopkins; as well as several nieces, nephews and great-nephews.
Visitation will be held from 4-6 p.m. on Sunday, January 18, at Currie Funeral Home in Kilmarnock, with a graveside service at 11 a.m. on Monday, January 19, at Corrottoman Cemetery in Lancaster.
