The Northumberland County Historical Society (NCHS) and the Northern Neck History Channel (NNHC) recently announced a year-long celebration of local history with a series of videos, Countdown to Independence.
Each month the NCHS will produce a video for the NNHC about some aspect of local colonial or Revolutionary War history. The final video in the series will post July 4, 2026, coinciding with the nation’s semiquincentennial celebration.
