Vietnam War veterans appreciation celebration slated April 14 at Lee’

The Cobbs Hall Chapter of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution is planning a celebration to honor Vietnam War veterans from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. April 14 at Lee’s Restaurant in Kilmarnock.

“Commonwealth Senior Living has graciously agreed to join us in our ‘thank you for your service and sacrifice’ event by offering a free slice of pie and cup of coffee at the restaurant,” said Joyce Pittman.

Members of the Cobbs Hall Chapter will hand out lapel pins, brochures, American flags and a heartfelt “thank you for your service” to each….
