Dream Fields plays host to Lancaster County Little League and Lancaster high and middle school baseball and softball programs.
Last weekend, the complex hosted its annual Stars of Tomorrow Tournament that included teams from Lancaster, Middlesex, Gloucester, Caroline, Denbigh, King William and Glen Allen. This tournament is one of many examples of how this complex brings the community together, supports area youth and provides economic stimulus.
On Thursday, August 8, Virginia Commonwealth Bank (VCB), the tournament’s premier sponsor, staffed the concession stand. VCB chief executive officer Randy Greene and Northern Neck market executive Susan Pittman announced their partnership with Dream Fields and its 2020 capital campaign. The 2020 project includes field and parking lot reconfiguration and sewer enhancements that will allow the “stars” to have even better and safer tomorrows.
