Virginia’s Li’l Ole Opry will open its 49th season of country music shows Saturday, April 13, with an “All Star Opry” featuring the house band, Shades of Country, and all of the Opry singers. The show will be staged at the Harry M. Ward Auditorium, Mathews High School, 9889 Buckley Hall Road, Mathews. Doors open at 7 p.m., the show starts at 7:30 p.m.
Tickets are $15 for all adults and $5 for ages 12 and younger. Purchase tickets in advance at the Mathews Visitor Center in Mathews and Marketplace Antiques in Hayes, or at the door on show night, starting at 6:30 p.m.
The Opry welcomes young local talent, Shane Norris, Hunter Owens and Elijah Clark, to its stage for the evening’s performance, as well as Opry singers….
