Northern Neck Family YMCA Bright Beginnings school shopping recently took place at Kilmarnock Walmart with the help of numerous volunteers from Chesapeake Bank, Bon Secours Rappahannock General Hospital, Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office and YMCA board and members.
Each child who enters the program gets partnered with a trusted “shopping buddy” volunteer to help pick their most significant needs for the upcoming school year without worrying about the cost.
