Walking for a good cause was fun for friends Rebecca Meberg (left) and Grace Oren during Saturday’s Walk for Water. Volunteers walked from Grace Episcopal Church to Chesapeake Boat Basin at the end of Waverly Avenue, filled buckets with water from the creek and walked back to the church to experience what residents in some third world countries must do every day for suitable drinking water.
