Washington & Lee’s senior all-around player, Ann Carter “AC” Harding, was chosen as the Northern Neck District’s volleyball player of the year and W&L’s Drew Hutt was named the coach of the year.
Hutt led the Lady Eagles to a 15-4 overall record and a 9-1 league record as the district’s regular season champion.
Northumberland, which finished the regular season in second place, won the district tournament championship and placed two on the all-district first team. W&L led the first-team selections with three including Harding, senior Anna Boswell and sophomore Makaila Veney.
