A new chapter is beginning at White Stone Baptist Church as the congregation formally installed pastor Shane Faircloth on Sunday, September 6. The event marks a significant milestone for the church family, who have spent several years in prayer, planning, and joyful anticipation for the arrival of their new spiritual leader.

Pastor Faircloth was called to serve after previously being a youth minister in Virginia Beach with Thalia Lynn Baptist Church for the past 13 years. He and his wife, Vicky, worked with the youth and children’s ministry for approximately 30 years.

The installation, during the morning worship hour, included scripture readings and special music. Rev. Eddie Heath and Faircloth’s father-in-law, the Rev. David Sedaca, led the formal charge to both the pastor and the congregation. Community guests, church members and many of pastor Shane’s family and friends attended, underscoring the significance of the moment for White Stone Baptist Church and the wider faith community in Lancaster County.

“The installation symbolizes more than a change in leadership, it represents renewed energy and direction for the ministry,” said Megan Stephens, head of the pastor search committee. “We believe God has sent pastor Faircloth to guide us into the next season of growth. This is a day of celebration, gratitude and hope.”

Following the service, the congregation hosted a fellowship gathering, offering members and visitors an opportunity to greet pastor Faircloth and welcome him into his new role.

White Stone Baptist Church stands ready to embrace its future with faith and excitement, confident that pastor Faircloth’s leadership will help shape a vibrant and spiritually grounded path forward, said Stephens
