WHITE STONE—After squeezing two special meetings in between its June and July monthly sessions, the White Stone Town Council had a light agenda July 7.

Council reviewed and approved its monthly and year-end financials, which showed a surplus of nearly $40,000 for the last fiscal year.

Council had budgeted $218,185 in revenue but came in at 122.67% over budget with $267,646, including more than $15,000 in an unexpended general fund balance from 2021. There was also an added…..
