White Stone Hometown Heroes banner applications due Monday

WHITE STONE—The Town of White Stone will celebrate veterans and current military service personnel in its second year of the Hometown Heroes banner program. Community members are urged to purchase banners to be displayed through town from Memorial Day through Veterans Day.

According to AnnGardner Eubank, chairman of the flags and banners committee, the program allows residents to pay tribute and honor family and friends who have participated in any branch of the military.
