WHITE STONE—The White Stone Town Council on October 3 decided to add river rock to two corners to complete the landscaping at Rappahannock and Chesapeake drives.
Charles Brocklebank made the motion to add brown river rock on the Virginia Department of Transportations (VDOT) right-of-way, pending VDOT approval, in front of Pointe Provisions, 538 Rappahannock Drive, and in front of Edward Jones Investments, 447 Chesapeake Drive.
Brown river rock has already been placed at the other two corners of the intersection.
The project was recommended under new business by Brocklebank, chairman of the building and external environment committee. The rock would be easy to maintain and match the other two corners….
