LANCASTER—William H. “Billy” Whealton Jr., 79, of Lancaster passed away suddenly on March 10, 2019. He was a U.S. Navy veteran and a retired waterman.
He is survived by his nephew, William Conrad (Kathy); great nephew, Kyle Conrad; brother-in-law, Cleveland M. Conrad; and a special friend, Joyce Williams.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William H. “Willie” Whealton Sr. and Mabel Clark Whealton; his wife, Mary Ann B. Whealton; his daughter, Christy Lee Whealton; and his sisters, Virginia “Ginny” W. Hale and Ann W. Conrad.
Billy was a charter member of the Lancaster Moose Lodge #2527 and past governor of Lancaster and Callao Moose Lodges. He held his fellowship degree. Billy was also a member of the Morattico Waterfront Museum.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. April 13 at the Lancaster Moose Lodge, 2108 River Road, Lancaster.
