WEEMS—William Hubbard Haydon Sr. 79, of Weems passed away February 28, 2023.
He was a retired truck driver and a U.S. Air Force veteran. He was the widower of Mary Belle Haydon.
He is survived by two daughters, Patricia McAdoo (Mike) of Kilmarnock and Shawna Martinez (Raul) of New Kent; four sons, Vernon Haydon (Katrina) of Texas, Terry Haydon (Jennifer) of Mollusk, William H. “B.J.” Haydon (Valerie) of Gloucester and Emory Haydon (Sarah) of Gloucester; 14 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; brothers, Gary Haydon of Matthews, Buddy Haydon of Bedford and Jimmy Haydon of California; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 5, at Currie Funeral Home, Kilmarnock. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
