WHITE STONE—William R. “Bill” Fix, 76, of White Stone passed away on May 20, 2017.
A writer and editor, Bill authored four books: Pyramid Odyssey, Star Maps, The Bone Peddlers, and Lake of Memory Rising. He was a world traveler and resided in several countries, including on the British Isles and in north Africa before he settled in Virginia.
Bill attended Grace Episcopal Church in Kilmarnock.
He is survived by his brother Tom, his sister Mary Jo, his ex-wife Dianne, and his son Joshua.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, June 16, at Grace Episcopal Church in Kilmarnock.
