LANCASTER—William S. Walton Jr., better known as “BFI,” 81, of Lancaster passed away June 22, 2019. He was born on November 7, 1937, in Marion to the late William S. Walton and Ruby I. Walton.
He retired from the 192nd Virginia Air National Guard as a master sergeant after completing a 31-year military career as well as a 31-year career in federal civil service.
He is survived by two stepdaughters and four grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia Rose Walton.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
