Lancaster High School athletes will hit the court, the track and the mat this week when the 2016-17 winter sports season starts.
The LHS wrestling team heads to Waynesboro High School this weekend for the Little Giants Classic. The two-day tournament, Friday, December 2, and Saturday, December 3, opens Lancaster’s wrestling season. The Devils will go to Mathews next Wednesday, December 7, for a tri-match.
Lancaster’s JV and varsity girls basketball teams will host Mathews tomorrow, December 2, Middlesex on Tuesday, December 6, and Charles City Wednesday, December 7.
The JV and varsity boys basketball teams will be on the road this week and will play at Mathews tomorrow, December 2, and at Middlesex on Tuesday, December 6.
The JV girls and boys basketball games start at 5:30 p.m. with varsity to follow.
