The 2024 World Croquet Championships are underway at the Chesapeake Bay Croquet Club (CBCC), 1860 Twiggs Ferry Road, Hartfield. The opening ceremonies are set for 4:30 p.m. today, October 17. The public is invited to attend.
The competition extends from October 18-26, reported CBCC Pro Macey White. This event is held every two years and was last hosted at the Sussex County Croquet Club in Brighton, UK. This event is sanctioned by the United States Croquet Association (USCA) and the World Croquet Federation (WCF). Defending his title will be American player, Matthew Essick.
CBCC has recently expanded and is the largest croquet facility in the world, said White.
