The Rappahannock Concert Association will present the Wren Masters – Baroque Quartet at 7:30 p.m. October 21 at the Northumberland High School Theater, 201 Academic Lane, Heathsville.
The quartet specializes in the historical performance of 17th and 18th century music on period instruments, the recorder, baroque violin, viola da gamba and harpsichord, reported publicity chairman Nellie Landrum. The musicians of this ensemble are current and former members of the College of William & Mary music faculty and the Governor’s Musik of Colonial Williamsburg.
Originally formed in 2005, the Wrens are named after their favorite performance space, William & Mary’s Christopher Wren Chapel….
