The Peninsula Metropolitan YMCA recently held its Community Impact Dinner at the Marriott at City Centre, Newport News. Twenty-eight staff, volunteers, family and friends of the Northern Neck Family YMCA attended the event.
The regional organization presented its Social Responsibility Award to Northern Neck Family YMCA volunteers Paul and Karen Sciacchitano of Weems for their significant contributions of time and energy to support youth development, healthy living and social responsibility, reported community development specialist Tom Martin.
To celebrate its 2018 volunteers, the Northern Neck Family YMCA recognized Jameson Scott as Teen Volunteer and Chris Braly as Adult Volunteer of the year.
