YMCA supports community initiatives

The Northern Neck Family YMCA recently held a blanket drive to support Interfaith Service Council, an interdenominational nonprofit organization committed to assisting those in crises when other resources are insufficient or unavailable, in both Northumberland and Lancaster counties.

The YMCA collected new or gently used blankets.

“One of the YMCA’s strategic priorities is giving back and providing support to our neighbors,” said center executive Liz Allen. “We are pleased to support the good work that the Interfaith Council does to serve families and seniors in our area.”
