The Arts for Youth program of the Rappahannock Foundation for the Arts (RFA) on January 12 brought Aura Curiatlas Physical Theatre to the Lancaster Middle School Theater and Chesapeake Academy for separate performances.
The group demonstrated physical storytelling by combining acrobatics, dance and theatrics, reported RFA board member Lucy Schneider. They invited several students to participate on stage, with careful demonstrations of simple and safe acrobatic movement.
After the show, the performers held a question and answer session with the students, said Schneider.
